Guys have a better way !

I was sitting alone thinking of what should be my next article, having no clue. I was reading my previous articles and also that of my friends, Harish and Prashanth. When I went through Harish’s blog, I found out an article about Girls (Its ObviousJ, sorry machi). He had concluded that Girls’ have their own way of doing things. They do silly, cute things, at times confusing and Guys admire it a lot. I have no objection in what he said. It’s hundred percent TRUE. At the same time, I wish to add some more about it, I mean about Guys. If Girls have their own way of doing things, then what about guys? (nanga ena agathuga va !)

Guys do have their own style of doing things. I never wanna boast guys over gals (Enala serupu adi vanga mudiyathu pa). But I do wanna compare the styles of each. Ok so how guys do things? We have one motto in our mind, I care a damn, except in the case of girlfriends (payapulaingala intha vishayathula namba mudiyathu). Guys pretend to take things very easily but gals think a lot (nambala yosika vitathana). If it is a very serious job, I’m sorry guys are not the preferable ones and above all punctuality and discipline are the words prohibited in a guy’s dictionary. I’m pretty sure it is opposite in case of gals, exceptions are always there.

Guys behaviour is usually rough and tough. Even a weak guy thinks he can do wonders, appreciated. But are they really? Tear, the biggest weapon of a gal! I bet you can't  find a guy who scolds a gal even after she starts weeping(nethila ezhuthi otiruku, kaena payanu). A guy respects a gal’s tears. I have to admit one point that guys are more emotional than gals. Gals cry out their worries, but guys never do. They keep everything to themselves and appear to be strong. The strength and support that a guy gives, be it to mom, sister, or girlfriend, can be never be replaced. A guy sacrifices lot for a girl and he makes sure the girl doesn’t know what he did for her(ivaru rmba nalavarama!).

I wanna tell few things to gals who read this and they should know what guys really do for you people. Not all but many can think, your guy never talks with you and spends more time with his friends. I’m sorry out of 30 min they talk; 25 min will be about you. Guys do things only for gals. His mom would have asked him to get something from a shop, but he never listens. But had it been you, the very next moment he would be in the shop. Guys are the best protection you can have. He sacrifices lot just for a pinch of smile in your face. A guy never has a weakness except on one thing and that is his gal. But he gets hurt badly if it is being misused. A gal thinks her bf always makes her cry but he cries more than you for hurting you. Gals can’t heal soon; they still remember the hurt they got. But a guy forgives the very next moment when his gal says sorry (inga than slip aydrom).

Guys notice each and every thing that his gal does and enjoys even the silliest things. They show their anger only to their gal because he believes that they are the only person who can understand it, but few are not able to understand it. A guy can hurt his gal very much but I bet he will never allow anyone else to do so. He does everything for a gal and also does everything told by the girl JSilly!. Everything they do depends on a gal and for a gal. Guys try everything they can just to make sure they are there for their gal.

On a conclude note, Girls are precious stones which should never be lost. They have their own way but a guy’s way is always on the way of their gal, a better way J

P.S.: It is a game of chess where a guy is cautious on not losing the queen and the queen does everything to protect her king J

Yen Nanbaen da !!

Yipeee !!! Internals is over and it’s high time for partying. I’m sorry for my readers that I was not able to write any articles this week cause of my exams. So , what do I have now? I was wondering what to write. My first one was emotional, second was funny and the third never came to a conclusion of what I was talking. I write my articles iff that thing has influenced me too much. So during this week I found one such thing and this one is about that.

I don’t want to come around cause I can talk about it the whole day. F.R.I.E.N.D.S ! Not the TV serial but I mean the person sitting next you and mocking you right now. The best and the worst relationship you ll ever have. What did they do ? Only one person in a million will ask this question. What they didn’t do for us ?

First to tell out few things which make us feel how much they are to us. Texting your girlfriend in class and the teacher is about to notice you. The shake in your leg, your friend gives to you, telling you that the faculty is about to notice. Just a small jerk has this much meaning. Next, Everyone in your class would have finished the assignment including your best pal and you give him a look saying, Machi I didn’t finish. The very next moment, had it been your classmate, he/she will take few A4 sheets out and say, write now, you can finish something and submit. But what your friend says, Ok dude then let me also not submit, we will bunk that class. Lovely words, even you won’t feel it from your lover.

You have a crush on a guy/gal. Obviously, friend is the first person to whom you say it. Is that all? You will kill him/her if he/she doesn’t get the detail about your crush in next 24 hours. You take him and roam the whole day following that gal’s vehicle, finding her home and returning back. Spending hours on this, has some value to you, atleast you found info about your crush but what did your friend gain? Maybe in few cases your galfriend comes with her friend and it could be useful for your friend. But it is very rare, in my case it never happened. Then, your friend gives his room, when no one is there in his home, to you and your gal, hey hey hey stop ! I meant just to talk and discuss about future! J J Helping your love in all ways just to see you happy !. And the same way, if it fails, he won’t mind taking you to booze spending his penny J

Exams ! Group studies ! You wouldn’t have studied a bit and you never understand a crap. Your friend would have finished 3/5 Chapters and very few  hours left for exams. I’m sure, atleast to my experience, never a friend will sit and read the next two chapters. He/She will sit make you understand atleast few things from the 3 chaps they read. And above all, a friend helps more than a pen in the exam hall. Things we innovate for copying is way ahead of current technologies. Writing answers in erasers, questions papers, passing it friends are the most amazing things during exams. And the worst thing is when our friend gets more marks than us. It is more painful than a break up and he/she is dead. Awesome Moments !!

After achieving great things in life and everyone around us is applauding, friends are the only ones who know how much you struggled to get through. They lift us when we fail when others try to make sure we never get up, they mould us when we not on the right track, they encourage us even when our parents lost hope on us, and also they are the first one to hit right on your face and say this is wrong and bullshit, even though you become the US President.

I should thank my friends who have made me feel each and every incident that is mentioned above, especially the UNBREAKABLEZ and TACKLERZ. Silly, we kept names for our gang, school and collegeJ. These people made me to be the best ! I never wished them to be with me coz I know they will be with me till my last breath. They gave me everything they can, but in return they expect only one thing…. Booze party J ( Don’worry be happy.. I’m coming this October).

I never mentioned any of my friends name but I want to mention this guy, ARUN. I won’t say he is no more but he still lives in our heart helping us in all ways possible to reach the destination we wished. I dedicate this article to all my friends, my buddies who were with me all along including the person sitting next to me, watching a movie and expecting me to take him for a treat outside tonight J. Love you Machans !!

WORLD WAR III

Do you think UN really decided that there shouldn’t be any War again?? Did we face any war after that? Or are we gonna face one in the near future ? If so, think of the disaster it would create. With so many advancements in technology, won’t it clear us off in a flash ? Nuclear Deal , was it a good idea? So many things would come to your mind, even actor Surya’s 7am Arivu movie was dealing with the Bio war. But, are we in a situation to face all these. Can we fight back if, at this second, you reading this article and the US targets a Nuclear Missile at your residence ??

The Answer is YES. We can fight back. We have all resources to withstand. Then why the hell is this article all about?? I know you’d ask me this question. I am warning you about much more serious issue. It is very common nowadays and multiplying very badly. What am I talking about?? Half of you would have guessed it. Yes ! the four letter word, LOVE. How many cigarettes you smoke a day ? How many beer bottles you drank today ? These are questions of the 70’s. How many lovers you have ? How many have you ditched so far ? These questions are now asked even in the interview nowadays. The reason is checking their managerial skills ? Or positively, checking are we good in relationships ?

I asked my friend some seven or eight months back. How is your love going on? He was very happy and said, I love the relationship and we will win in life and love. Impressive!! I called him back yesterday and asked the same question. He gave the same reply. I was happy he is still ON and fine. As the talk continued, I figured it out that he is now in love with another gal and was mentioning about the current love. For few authentic people, it could be strange but for many this would be very common.

So, is it good or bad ? Is there anywhere written that we should love only one person (I didn’t mention, at a time) and whatever happens we should continue the relationship? I guess not. I personally have met people who are in a relationship for the fifth time and also have met persons who are single at the age of 40, still thinking of their married loved ones. The latter ones are living dead, not using their talents in any form and just living a life awaiting death, hurting themselves and others, not in a mood to earn. The former ones, pretty common, are enjoying their life every second, taking things sportive and moving on, spending what they earn.

It is a war. The ditched ones fighting against their sentiments and the experts are waiting to make their current love successful. Both are two extremes and we have no right to question their sentis. But, what is happening at the middle of this emotional line, the people who are in love and behaving abnormally. They appear very happy, very jovial until a phone call from their loved one is received. A perfect example of a manager, being an MBA student, I would say the person who is able to manage his/her girl/boyfriend maybe girl/boyfriends in some cases. So what crap is in that call that makes my friend dull???, will be the question from all. Only the person who is in the relationship knows it, they say.

People love a person who they believe they can keep them happy. But He/She is fighting for happiness, freedom, love, care and above all, the so called SELF. There are people who are enjoying their relationships even 6 or 7 years later. So are they really the best people. It could also be, they sacrificed lot and appear to be happy. Should one sacrifice or lose the SELF for the relationship. Then what is the use of it ? We are in a relationship to be happy but isn’t it the other way about.

The war is about the ego between the male and the female. So who is gonna win the emotional war? My answer to this is No one. Making your loved one lose is worse than you losing. A guy sacrifices many things for a gal without thinking anything or anyone. But a gal thinks of everything and then decides. The guy is not behaving senseless neither the gal is sensual. It is too personal and it’s only up to the two. And for my dear singles, the person who is in a relationship has only one boy/girlfriend but for the singles, the world is theirs.

On my part, I would say, love the person only because you love them. Don’t love them coz you have to love them. Aaaniya pudungurathum pudungathathum unga ishtam. Choice is yours!

P.S.: The confusion about taking it or not is the beauty of LOVE. 

Oru Tamizhanin Kural ! (Voice of a Tamizhian)

Ahhhh !! Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, a place where many students dream to study in. But how is the life of him/her after entering into such an Institute? How do they survive here ? ENGLISH !! Yes, a good answer but not a useful one. It is of rare use here, maybe only while writing exams. Coming from south to the north, with lot of expectations, obviously I didn’t mean the acads, the only thing we get here is.. BULBu.. A gorgeous looking girl you see the first time here and she comes to you and asks something. After 5 mins of one way communication, you say to her Meh hindi maalum nahi. She gives a look at you, which you ll feel embarrassed for next 48 hours, and then she goes to another good looking hindiwala. Vada pochae.

Next what, we get an auto and tell him bhaiya meh IIT ke ja hae. The very next moment he will find where you are from. He will tell us a rate, I’m sure we will be able to understand it coz before coming here we will learn at least numbers, dhas, bhese, theese . Kanungala athu pathathu ma, we should learn what it is for 15, 25, 35 too L. There were situations where the autowala told me pucheese(25) and I argued him for these(30). What else to do ! Namaku athuthana thaeriyum. Then somehow we will slowly learn 11, 12, 13… without knowing that 25 and 50 are very commonly used numbers for purchasing. My personal experience is that, while buying something, the shopkeeper told me it costs theese. I know it’s neither worth for theese or bheese. Somewhere in the middle.  I should thank my friend for telling me one of the incident that happened to him. Avanum namba aalu than but he knows numbers till 20 !!! Amazing ! atleast for me actually. Using that, I told the shop keeper, eh final heh, bhara+thera (my friend used the same strategy before). After that the shopkeeper didn’t even look at me and was busy with other customers. Shortly, asingapatan autokaran.

After facing all these, we try to make ourselves calm. As days pass, some of our friends will call and ask us about how things are going. We will talk to him as though we have got a Phd in Hindi. Machi, meh now ke busy hae tum apram call karo hae. He/She will think, overa scene podrane and will ask us. “Hey I don’t understand anything, please tell in tamizh”. (Mind voice: Enaku matum puriyutha, nanae adichu vidraen).Our turn, “Oh sorry yaar (this yaar is one thing you will earn for sure) I got used talking Hindi here”. We will know, only if we ask his/her Hindi classmates about his/her knowledge.

 (Caution: Don’t ask my classmates about mine).

And of course, by very rare case, we would have seen few Hindi movies or at least heard songs. We will hum those songs while walking, showing that we are quite familiar with the language. Just think the songs we know, kuch kuch hota hai, lagaan. Then we have a very famous dialogue of ours in Hindi which till date many don’t know the meaning. Ek gowme ek kisan rahathatha….. podangooth**  nu poitae irupanunga. Also one incident I should tell. I knew it before coming here but I believe few wouldn’t know. We would have heard a song, Choli ke peeche…. Heaven sake don’t sing it here. My friend recently, without knowing(I assume) the meaning, was singing it before girls.

(Stop Stop, after reading fully you can google what the meaning is)

Telling all these, I should also tell you the positives of not knowing Hindi. Primary is, whoever scolds you, you will be the happiest person ever coz you don’t understand a crap out of it except one word, behanch***, which I see everyone using so commonly here. Even if they ask you a question, you will keep on nodding your head J (personal experience)

But friends, I should also admit that people here, at least in my college are really good. You can make friends very easily be it a North Indian or South Indian. I have friends here who are from North too. They treat you very well, at least in front you (just kidding). We can very well come here and do our studies without hesitation coz, yaam petra inbam/thunbam peruga iv vaiyagam, J. We can enjoy hell lot just like our native place and friends. You won’t feel nostalgic that much but of course food sick (thoku, oorka, podi elam eduthutu vanga da L).

Whatsoever, on my part, I’m enjoying to the core here. Language is never a barrier. Everytime, everysec I’m surrounded by friends. I hope this will be the same till I finish my course. I also take this as a chance to thank my friends here, hindiwalas, for making me and all other people from South as “feel at home”. We are not strangers to them neither they are to us. We are IITians
